But the star of the game was Janel McCarville. The hometown Center stepped up in a huge way scoring a game and season high 22 points hitting on 9 of her 16 shots from the field.

Sue Bird led the way for Seattle with 21 points and 7 assissts. Jenna O'Hea added 14 points for Seattle. Seattle had a great chance to take the lead with 22 seconds left but Seattle's Angel Robinson missed a wide opeb, point blank lay up to seal the game for the Minnesota Lynx.

Seattle Storm legendary Point Guard Sue Bird became the 2nd player in WNBA history to record 4,000 points, 2,000 assists and 1,000 rebounds in her career.
