The 2019 Minnesota Twins bashed a Major League Baseball record 307 home runs on their way to an A.L. Central Division title.  Now it's time to bring back the Homer Hanky.

According to StarTribune.com:

Dreamed up in 1987 by a Star Tribune marketing team led by Terrie Robbins, the Homer Hanky became part of the (soft, white) fabric of that unforgettable World Series run. The Hanky made several returns after that, in 1991 and a few times in the 2000s as well.

And this week, it’s coming back — with a twist. Who says Homer Hankys always have to be white? (Hint, hint).

Details on how to get a Homer Hanky, as well as a preview of the new design, will be released soon.

The Minnesota Twins open the best-of-five game A.L. Divisional Series Friday, October 4 in New York.  They play the Yankees on the road again on Saturday before hosting the Yankees at Target Field on Monday, October 7.  Game 4, if necessary, would also be at Target Field.  Game 5, if necessary, would be back in New York.
