After taking a break last year because of COVID-19, organizers have out together an even bigger and better event this year with two separate events. The first one is The St. Paul Food Truck Festival this Saturday July 17 from 11am-9pm at Union Depot's Lot D. The second event The Anoka Food Truck Festival takes place on August 21 from Noon-10pm in downtown Anoka.

Admission to the event is FREE and is a fantastic way to support local food vendors and enjoy some delicious food and drink from vendors you may not have ever heard  of before. There will be over 50 different food trucks on site including some new vendors with food ranging from gourmet mini donuts to wood fire pizza.

Plus beside the obvious delicious variety of food there will be a huge variety of Craft beer, hard cider and spiked seltzer, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Live music, games, activities for people of all ages and giveaways.

On top of this being a great community event the organizers have partnered with the Feed My Starving Children organization which provides meals for starving children around the world. 1/2 of each alcohol wristband sold is directly donated to Feed My Starving Children, which provides roughly 5 meals per wristband.

COVID precautions have also been established for the safety of all guests and vendors following the CDC guidelines by supplying additional handwashing and sanitation stations, plus additional spacing and social distancing protocols. On top of that they have increased trash and recycling services and have people dedicated to wiping down tables after each guest leaves the area. So mark your calendars and get ready for a road trip you won't soon forget, and who knows you might find a new food vendor that will be come your all time favorite!
