The Pioneer Press reports that former Notre Dame safety Harrison Smith and the Vikings have a contract deal in place, leaving only two of Minnesota's 2012 draft picks without contracts.

The deal is reportedly a standard 4-year deal, in line with other players of his position and draft level according to sources close to the situation.

Smith was picked up as a result of some pick trading, giving Minnesota 2 first round picks; one at number 4 overall and the other at number 29, where Smith was picked. Notably, Matt Kalil - that number 4 pick, has yet to come to terms with a deal. That isn't to say there is a dispute, a deal simply hasn't been reached to date.
