Last night the Dallas Mavericks became the first team since the NBA switched to the 2-3-2 format to win the NBA championship when they were down 2-1 after game 3. This year, the NBA Finals were very exciting, enticing, and almost hypnotizing. It seemed like the whole country tuned in to see if Lebron James would actually show up for the fourth quarter, or would Dirk Nowitzki finally get that championship he has been long waiting for.

Well James did not show up last night, but he did make a few quest appearances last night, which is way more then what James could of said in game 4. This is not another article just about how horrible James is, but I do have another thing to say about the so called "King" later in this story. I  have to say this year was a lot of fun to watch the NBA, because of what it had to offer, like the soap opera in South Beach, or the crazy owner in Cleveland, and a Rookie Phenom playing on Los Angeles B-team. NBA had this orb around it this year, which made it way more enjoyable to watch then in past years, and the NBA Finals was its grand finale.

From Cleveland to New York to Chicago and L.A., it seemed like everyone wanted to see Dallas beat the Heat. In Cleveland they made shirts that read "Cavs for Mavs". Within one year James went from a NBA legend in the making, to a guy that is regarded as the NBA version of Jesse James.  This will be the time where I want to bash James, sorry all James fans out there, but I saw something last night that really ticked me off. Under 20 seconds left in the game Miami called its last timeout, and once that timeout was done, James walked out onto the court with his jersey un-tucked. That right there is a disgrace, you have less then a minute remaining in your season, and you think you can just stop trying? That showed immaturity, and self pity, and did anyone else notice how quickly James scampered off the court with is tail between his legs once the clock hit zero. James should of kept his jersey tucked in, and should of stayed around to congratulate the Mav's, because I know the Mav's would of done that if the Heat would of won. James deserved to lose, because of his comments the past year, and his mocking of Nowitzki before game 5. Karma will always catch up to you James.

"All the people that were rooting me on to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life they had before,” James said. “They have the same personal problems they had to today. I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want with me and my family and be happy with that." Said James

Dear James: This comment right here ranks you closer to Ron Artest level then Michael Jordan. Yeah your right I did wake up today with the same life, but you woke up today with the feeling of "ring-less", and when you look at yourself in the mirror, you are starring at a players that is lifetime 0-2 in the Finals(Jordan was 6-0). Every person has problems, but your problems show up on national T.V, like checking out in the fourth quarter(couple of times during this series). This series showed all of us that James will never be like Mike, so right now we should stop comparing him to Jordan, and start comparing him to Karl Malone, who is a Hall of Fame player, and one of the best all time, but just like James could never win the big game when it mattered.

What will happen to the Heat, with a possible new "hard" salary cap coming to the NBA, and with the influx of great players leaving the Western Conference, and coming over to the Eastern Conference. With Chicago, New York, Orlando, and Boston all close to becoming champion contenders, some may ask will the Heat ever make it back to the Finals? The answer is probably yes, but if the NBA cracks down on these teams packaging all these great players together, will the Heat be able to afford the "Miami Thrice?" or if not them how about affording a good supporting cast. The NBA is drifting into a dark stage in its life, with a lockout looming, and the future of the league up in the air, who knows what will happen in the end, but for now it congratulation to the Dallas Mavricks organization for all what they accomplished this season, and for another year of what will James do next or can not do next, and my last comment is, Mark Cuban showed a lot of class last night by having the first owner of the Mavericks there with the team, and by having him receive the trophy.
