If you need a White Castle fix, the only way to get some in the Twin Ports is the frozen burgers, and they've been recalled. Now what?!

According to the Food and Drug Administration, "White Castle has initiated a voluntary recall of a limited number of frozen 6 pack cheeseburgers, frozen 6 pack hamburgers, frozen 6 pack jalapeno cheeseburgers, and 16 pack hamburgers, 16 pack cheeseburgers for the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes."

If you have any frozen White Castle's look for best by dates between August 4th, 2020 and August 17th, 2020. Any product with best by dates before and after these dates is not affected by the recall.

If you do have some recalled burgers, either dispose of them or take them back to the point of purchase for a full refund. And if you're like me and already ate them, just hope for the best.

The FDA says that Listeria, "can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems."
