Wisconsin Can’t Find 13 of State’s GPS Monitored Sex Offenders
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections announced today that they cannot find 13 of State Registered, GPS monitored sex offenders. They believe the individuals either tampered with or removed their monitoring systems.
This information came out after an official with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections responded to an inquiry on Brandon King, a registered sex offender that was recently released from prison. He was mandated to have a monitor installed after his August 6th release. Hours after his release, he cut off the ankle bracelet. He is among the 13 that the Department of Corrections has not yet located.
