6th Annual Canine Carnival At Fitger's

This Saturday at Fitger's, it's the 6th Annual Canine Carnival from 11-3, brought to you by A Place For Fido and Fitger's. There will be all sorts of pet experts on hand.

At 12:30 there will be a "cake walk" game where the winnings will actually be dog food, treats and a dining gift certificate. The "spoon and potato race" will start at 1:30. The handler must carry a potato on a spoon in the same hand as their dog's leash (with dog attached) and run a course. If the potato falls, the handler may put the potato back on the spoon and continue.

They are also looking for the cutest couple in the Twin Ports! You can vote for your favorite "couple" at A Place for Fido during the Canine Carnival event.

This event is free, so bring your leashed fur babies down and say "RUFF!" (Hello!)
