Alice Cooper to Star in Jesus Christ Superstar [VIDEO]

When I first heard about this I thought it was a joke, especially when I watched the preview video I will post for you below.

Apparently set to premier on Easter Sunday on NBC is Jesus Christ Superstar, with Sara Bareilles, Alice Cooper and John Legend staring in the show.  Cooper will play King Herod since he is probably past the playing Jesus age at this point in his life

Is this really a thing?  I can't be the only one who watches this trailer and can't take it seriously.  Will you be watching it on Easter Sunday?
