Somewhere online I saw an add for for a company called "Brandless".  Their claim was quality products, most for only three dollars.  These products range from snacks like chips and pretzels to backing products and even some kitchen knives.

I ordered a enough to get the free shipping and had a ten dollars off first order over fifty dollars coupon.  After adding a bunch of things I might normally consume, I checked out of my cart and about a week later received 3 boxes of goods that could have been packed in one and a half though the boxes were cheap and so was the tape used, so maybe three makes sense.

The short is, nothing wowed me.  The peanut butter was only fair, and for the size jar for three bucks I would not purchase again.  I like Swedish Fish type candy, and their knock off ones were not even close and were almost sticky like someone left them in a hot car.  I didn't much care for their kettle chips, opting for the salt and vinegar.  I also ordered a poppy seed salad dressing and that actually was pretty close to brands we normally purchase locally.  Other items included salsa and blue corn tortilla chips, which were decent enough.  The pretzels, and I'm a big pretzel fan, were not very good.

Overall, I don't know what I would purchase many food items from there again.  The cost to taste just wasn't good enough.  Sure three bucks sounds good but when you see the bag sizes in person and taste only mediocre products, not worth it in my book.  I am curious to try a couple of their kitchen knives or plates and bowls.  Have you tried Brandless products?  What did you think?
