Fall is in the air and Halloween is on the way here in the Northland!

As you and your family get your Halloween costumes ready and map out your plans for haunted houses, Halloween parties, and other spooky festivities, I decided to look into some of the hotspots for families to get out and trick-or-treat in Duluth this year.

I surveyed some people around the station and listeners around the Twin Ports area to get an idea of some of the best neighborhoods for trick-or-treating in Duluth based on personal experience.

Whether it's based on the number of trick-or-treat-friendly houses in a neighborhood, the types of candy being handed out, or things like walkability or good lighting for walking the streets, the reasons for each of these neighborhoods being named to this list considered a variety of different factors.

I'll admit, there are certainly some great spots in pretty much every neighborhood in Duluth, but if you're looking to concentrate your efforts, these seem to be the best spots based on recommendations I've gotten.
