Boxing Great Joe Frazier Dead at 67
After a short battle with liver cancer, boxing legend Smokin' Joe Frazier died yesterday at the age of 67. Known best for his matches against Muhammad Ali, the two heavyweights met in the ring three times with Frazier coming out on top only once in 1971 in what was known as the "Fight of the Century", and was the first man to beat Ali.
Frazier and Ali were bitter enemies for years, until the forgave each other later in life and actually became good friends. Frazier retired in 1976 with a record of 32 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw. He died with his family by his side in Philadelphia.
