The City of Superior is warning residents that they will be stepping up their sidewalk snow ordinance enforcement next week.

City of Superior Code Compliance Facebook page says that starting on January 2nd, their office will increase enforcement of sidewalk snow clearing violations.

They say that because of the magnitude of the early December snowstorms that snow removal has been "more challenging than usual" and they have been forgiving, but that will end soon.

They say that priority will be school routes and other high pedestrian traffic areas. If a violation is found they snow will be cleared and the cost will be passed on to the property owner.
