Cloquet Police Department To Host Pet Microchip Clinic

The Cloquet Police Department is hosting a Pet Microchip Clinic at Veteran's Park in Cloquet.  The event is free to Carlton County residents, while non-residents are $20 per pet.

The Pet Microchop Clinic is Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Carlton County residents must show proof of residency with a valid photo I.D. and there is a 3 pet limit per household.

Other things to keep in mind for the event include:

• This is a first come first serve event due to limited supplies.
• Due to COVID-19 health concerns, this event will be drive-thru only.
• Vehicles will enter one-way on the east side parking lot at Veteran's Memorial Park where vehicles will form a line towards the west side parking lot exit.  Microchip applications must be completed and people must remain in their vehicle.
• All pets must be secured, leashed or in a kennel.  Staff will come to you to administer the microchip to your pet(s).

Additional services will be available on September 19 for a fee.  Nail trims are $10, while distemper and bordetella shots can be administered for $12 each, or $20 for both.  Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
