Northlanders love the lake.  Many people have cabins that they own or visit on a regular basis.  If you're lucky enough to own one for yourself, chances are you spend a good chunk of the summer enjoying it.  And while some people continue to use their cabins when the snow flies and the temperature turns cold, most walk away from them until the spring.

Cabins aren't cheap - so the TLC you give it could be considered a way to maintain your investment.  Before you turn the key on the door and drive away one last time for the winter, that cabin and lake property needs some last-minute attention.
