Crooked Pint Ale House Opens in Duluth’s Kenwood Village

The Duluth area officially has another option for dining and craft beer. Crooked Pint Ale House opened in the Kenwood Village in Duluth Tuesday, marking the 6th location the company operates around the region. The restaurant is one of the anchor tenants of the Kenwood Village multi-use complex at the corner of Arrowhead Road and Kenwood Avenue that is also home to Caribou Coffee/Einstein Bagels, and a number of apartments in the upper levels of the building.

A release from the company outlines that Crooked Pint is known, in particular, for their Jucy Lucy burgers. In April of this year, the company was named USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Juicy Lucy in the state of Minnesota. The restaurant's menu features standard pub fare, including burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and appetizers; along with a selection of craft beers, wine, and cocktails. Also highlighted by the restaurant is their broad selection of bourbons, scotches, and whiskeys. The atmosphere is upscale-casual, with a rustic look that also features a number of large-screen TVs and high-quality dining and beverage options.

Paul Dzubnar, CEO of Hightop Hospitality, and franchisor of Crooked Pint Ale House, explained that he is proud to bring this restaurant to Duluth, saying "We’re especially excited because we feel our unique menu and atmosphere is perfect for the Duluth community.” This marks another addition in the expanding craft beer and pub dining options to the Duluth area, joining recently-opened Lucky's 13 Pub and a soon-to-open expansion of the local chain 7 West Taphouse, among a number of others established in the area.

The Duluth location is the second of 3 Crooked Pints opening in 2017. A location in Maplewood opened in February, while another will open in Sioux Falls, SD later this year. These join locations in Apple Valley, Chaska, Minneapolis, and Rochester.
