I don't have a buying too many shoes issue, it's a buying too many boots one.  I was dropping off some high heals to have repaired for my Queen this weekend and of course had to look at what else was for sale.  My inner US marshal must have been calling since I've been watching Justified as of late, because I was drawn to cowboy boots.

I have several pairs of slip on, tall engineer, motorcycle riding type boots, so I know breaking them in is usually not the most fun.  I stepped into this pair of Double H Work Westerns and they were comfortable right away, but still felt solid and durable.  After trying on a few other pairs, I had to have these.  The price was right and they threw in a new t-shirt so I swiped the card and was on my way wearing my new boots.

I wore them on the rest of my adventures that day and at first my feet were a little sore as the leather started to mold to my feet.  I continued the wear onto the evening and after dinner and drinks with friends until about midnight took them off.  For a new boot of this style I am incredibly impressed with the comfort.

The boot is a 12" Work Western Model 3282 and It features what Double H calls a PermaFresh Cushioned Insole and their Midnight Shock Absorbing Insert which ads to the comfort.  I like the grip of these too, and appreciate that in a boot when riding.  To aid in the grip this model has the AG7 outsole and with the melting snow, sand and grit outside I had no issues walking around or over the still existing snow in April.

These boots are made in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania so I appreciate the American Made aspect and as I was taking pictures for this write up I noticed Delores inspected my boot.  I feel like that's the name of someone I would want inspecting my Western style footwear.  After 2 days of wear, I have zero buyer's remorse and will be doing a long term review after some work time and motorcycle miles on them.
