Horror movie lovers rejoice! This event was made for you. Two local authors will be hosting a drive-thru book signing event for their newest book called "The Science Of Stephen King."

The event will take place at Lake Superior College on Thursday (October 8th) beginning at 5:30 p.m. It will continue until about 7 p.m. You can stay in your car and you will leave with some fun treats.

All you have to do is show up. There is no need to pre-register. If you purchase the book, you will receive a special horror-movie themed cupcake, made after Stephen King classics like The shining, It and Pet Sematary. You will also get a Stephen King balloon. (Hello, Pennywise!) There will also be candy for kids that ride along to the event.

The book is $15 dollars and you can pay with cash or credit card. The best part is a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Lake Superior College Foundation. It should also be noted that the event is COVID friendly. The authors will be wearing masks while speaking to you and signing your book.

"The Science Of Stephen King" was written by horror fanatics Meg Hafdahl and Kelly Florence. They met in Duluth and have penned a few other books on the horror genre as well. This one dives into horror king Stephen King and his most famous characters, like Jack and Pennywise, to name a few. The authors even interviewed one of his close friends and former colleagues for the book, which is absolutely awesome.

We will see you there - if you dare!
