Duluth Hosting Free Turkey Bowl Family Event November 14

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, the time is right for some free family fun with the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation department at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center.

Bring the entire family for a free Turkey Bowl event on Wednesday, November 14, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Turkey Bowl will include frozen turkey bowling, drawings for free turkeys, live DJ music, and healthy treats provided by Whole Food Co-op.  The rink will also be open for ice skating, with limited skates available for free use.  Bring your own skates if you're able and make sure kids have helmets and are accompanied by an adult.

There will also be a meet and greet with Military Service Men and Women, as well as the opportunity to create holiday cards for those stationed overseas.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to donate and you'll receive and earn an extra ticket for the drawing for every item donated.

The Duluth Heritage Center is located at 120 S. 30th Ave West in Duluth.
