Whether you like it or not, winter is basically here in the Northland! In fact, snow is in the forecast for much of the region this weekend.

We aren't looking at a huge snowstorm but we may see some accumulation. According to WDIO Meteorologist Taylor Dayton, we could see about an inch in Duluth. While seeing snow this early in the year isn't shocking, do we usually see that much around this time of year? The answer: no!

Oh man! The Old Farmer's Almanac predicted we'd be seeing snow this month AND according to the Farmers' Almanac, this is just the beginning. In fact, they described this upcoming winter season as a 'polar coaster.' I don't know what that is but I know it doesn't sound good. Ha!
