The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth has announced a new virtual concert series, which will allow everyone safe access to terrific performances by musicians from Greater Minnesota.

The new concert series is called Live from the Mitchell.  This first of the series will take place on Saturday, February 13, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., featuring the acoustic ska duo Woodblind. 

Woodblind is made up of Jason Wussow and Viekko Lepisto from Duluth. The concert will feature the duo along with guest musicians featured on their newest album, which was released this past summer.

The general public is invited to watch the performance, which will be broadcast from the Mitchell Auditorium and live streamed on facebook.com/stscholastica and YouTube.com/SaintScholastica.

St. Scholastica continues to offer a variety of virtual experiences during the pandemic, which included a holiday virtual concert series.

Coming up on  February 26 is the Zoom event titled "Crafting a Children's Book Focused on the Common Good with Sarah Brokke Erickson and Gary Boelhower".  Then on March 4, they will present the play, "Incorruptible: a Dark Comedy About the Dark Ages By Michael Hollinger".  This full-length play will be presented online for $10 per individual and $35 for a group of up to 4 watching together.
