Emergency Pig-Out Benefits Iron River Responders
Our community emergency responders work hard to help keep us safe. They are especially important in smaller towns where a lot of the workers are volunteers. The 13th Annual Emergency Pig-Out is still on for 2020 and it will benefit Iron River Emergency Services.
On Sunday, September 6th, the pig roast will happen rain or shine from 11:00AM-4:00PM. It's only $15 per plate or feed the family with 4 plates for $50. With that you'll enjoy of course a nice portion of roasted pig, cole slaw, beans, and a roll. There will be live music too, Truegrass Trio will be rocking the place from Noon until the event ends. There is limited seating, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs to enjoy the music. It's highly encouraged that you pre-order your plate to make sure you get one, and all plates will be in to-go containers. You can pre-order by calling 715-372-5656.
The event is hosted by White Winter Winery, where it will also take place. They are located at Hwy 2 and Lea Street in Iron River, WI. You can get more information about them and this awesome event to help out those who help others HERE. While this event is outdoors, social distancing will be observed. Remember to bring your mask if it makes you feel more comfortable.
