Fond-du-Luth Casino will be closing their doors on Wednesday, March 18th.

The casino shared the news Tuesday (March 17th), stating that they would be temporarily shutting down due to COVID-19.

According to their statement, the closure begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and will be in place for "at least two weeks." You can read their full statement on their Facebook page here.

There is not yet word of a reopening date but we will continue to check back and keep you updated when the casino announces one. Fond-du-Luth Casino is located at 129 East Superior Street in Duluth.

Black Bear Casino Resort will also be closing in the wake of COVID-19 coronavirus. That closure will also be in effect beginning at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th and will also last at least two weeks. We will continue to keep you updated on a reopening date.
