If you're like me and were supposed to be drinking beer and rocking out with Guns N' Roses Friday night at Target Field, you will be happy to know that we may get to do that next year at last.

Ticketmaster sent out the following e-mail to ticket holders this week saying that a new Guns N' Roses tour was in the works for 2021, including a Target Field stop:

Dear Guns N' Roses Fan and Ticketmaster,

We wanted to let you know that the event organizer is working on rebooking a tour for 2021 which includes your event. You will receive another email from us on July 27th with the full details for 2021.

Hang on to your tickets - In the next update you receive from us, we'll include information on how to obtain a refund should you be unable to make the new event date. At that time, all fans will be given 30 days to request a refund.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to gathering and celebrating the live experience together again.

For me, personally, while I'm disappointed the show didn't happen this year, I don't mind waiting until it can happen in a safer environment.  I seriously would have felt a uneasy jammed into Target Field for any reason this summer.

We will be sure to keep you posted on this show, and other rescheduled shows in the area, and work to get even more tickets to give away for the new date.
