Cold Front Duluth has finally, officially begun! One of the highlights is the Yeti Hunt, which takes place over two weekends in two different parks, providing two chances to win.

The Yeti Hunt will first take place over the weekend of Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21.  It will then happen again at a new location over the weekend of Saturday, February 27 and Sunday February 28.  The hunt will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

According to Cold Front Duluth organizers, here's how to participate and win a prize:

A Yeti is on the loose in a Duluth city park and we need your help to find it! Starting at 10 a.m., clues will be released hourly on our Facebook and Instagram (@DuluthParksMN) leading participants to the correct park. At the park, participants must find and take a photo with/of the Yeti (don’t give away the location!) and post it to social media or email to Parks to be entered in a drawing to win a prize. Prize includes a Yeti coffee mug and Parks & Recreation merchandise. Use #ColdFront2021 to double your drawing entries!

Organizers add that the Yeti will remain in place until Sunday evening of each weekend.

After being delayed a couple of weeks because it was too cold, Cold Front Duluth officially got underway on Thursday, February 18 with the Cold Front Luminary Walk, which was a candlelit stroll on Duluth's Lakewalk.
