Minnesota is about to get a huge, new music venue. The outdoor space is located in Shakopee, Minnesota, in the Twin Cities area.

The new venue, named after a Twin Cities area casino and event center, is an outdoor space operated by live event promoter Live Nation. Mystic Lake Amphitheater is conveniently just up Canterbury Road, less than 5 miles north of the casino that shares its name.

The venue's operators, Live Nation, have deep connections with big names in the music and live entertainment world, and they are definitely flexing those connections with what has been an incredible lineup of shows announced for the first year of music at what will be Minnesota's largest outdoor music space.

The space is described as a "state-of-the-art amphitheater" that offers "dramatic 360 views of the stunning Minnesota River Valley and an incredibly intimate covered lower bowl."

Besides a huge slate of live music already announced, the new venue will have all of the other amenities you'd expect for such an entertainment space.

From food options that include burgers, chicken strips, pizza, tacos, Asian cuisine, and other on-site concessions, and on-site drink options that include specialties like frozen beverages, cocktails, and Liquid Death products, you'll be able to settle in for hours of music and keep yourself from getting hungry or thirsty.

The venue will have on-site parking as well as a complimentary shuttle from Mystic Lake Casino, and many of the same types of rules for other Minnesota music venues will be in place. You can learn more about that on the venue's FAQ page.

They're even offering "season ticket" options to be able to enjoy multiple shows at this new venue.

While Minnesota's outdoor concert season is shorter than other places around the country, it will still be active! The first year of the venue already features about 30 acts that span genres. From Chris Stapleton to Pitbull, Motley Crue to Hilary Duff, and Lil Wayne to Jon Mellencamp, there's something for almost anyone on the roster for the inaugural season at this new Twin Cities venue.
