Grandma’s Marathon 2024 ‘Rock The Bayfront’ Live Music Lineup Announced

Before you know it, Grandma's Marathon Weekend will be here. The 2024 event sold out in near-record time, with the full marathon selling out for the fourth straight year.

While the races of Grandma's Marathon Weekend - William A. Irvin 5K, Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, and Grandma's Marathon - are at the center of the weekend's festivities, another long-standing tradition is the music.

For many years, "Rock the Bigtop" saw bands brought into Canal Park to play during the weekend. In recent years, the event has been moved to Bayfront Festival Park, giving even more space for runners and non-runners alike to gather and enjoy some music and good times. Bayfront has been the home to Grandma's Weekend music since 2021.

Organizers for Grandma's Marathon just announced the lineup for this year's musical performances, which include live music both Friday and Saturday at Bayfront. Headlining this year's music lineup is Barron, Wisconsin's own Chris Kroeze, who was a finalist on the NBC show The Voice in 2018.

Like in years past, night one will feature music from one act, with a full day of acts lined up for Saturday. Here's the full schedule:

• 11:30 am - 1:30 pm: Adam Herman & The Dynamite Club
• 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Boxcar
• 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Sydney Hansen
• 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Chris Kroeze
• 9:30 pm - 11:30 pm: PopROCKS

Food and beverages will be available on-site during the festivities at Bayfront.
