
29-Year-Old Woman Killed in Head-on Crash on Southern Minnesota Highway
New Ulm, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A crash in southern Minnesota claimed the life of a young woman Wednesday morning.

Two vehicles were involved in the deadly crash. The State Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 5:30 a.m.

29-Year-Old Woman Dies in Head-on Crash Involving Pickup and Jeep on Hwy. 15 South of New Ulm
The fatal collision occurred on Hwy. 15 just south of New Ulm.
A southbound Jeep and northbound pick-up collided on the two-lane highway, the state crash report says.
29-year-old Guadalupe Maria Miramontes of New Ulm was identified as the Jeep driver. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the State Patrol.
Other Driver Taken to Minneapolis Hospital
21-year-old Hunter David Grathwohl of Fairmont was driving the pickup.
The State Patrol says he suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the fatal crash. The state crash report does not say which vehicle entered the opposite lane.
