Delta Just Brought Back a Favorite for Minnesota Travelers
There's more good news for Minnesota travelers who fly with the largest airline serving the state, as Delta Air Lines has just brought back a fan favorite plus other enhancements, all designed to make your flight more enjoyable this summer.
Delta Air Lines is accustomed to ranking at or near the top on many different customer surveys. In a story I wrote about last year, we gave a big Minnesota shout-out to Delta Air Lines for placing at the top of the latest J.D. Power 2025 survey for North America Airline Satisfaction in the Premium Economy category. And earlier this year, I wrote about how Delta was named the best airline in the industry in 2026 by the travel site, The Points Guy.
Delta, of course, has its second-largest hub in the U.S. at the largest airport in Minnesota, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) near Bloomington, so if you're flying out of the North Star State, it's likely you'll be on a Delta flight.

Delta Serves More Than 100 Nonstop Destinations From MSP
Delta says it runs nearly 330 departures from MSP to 119 destinations across the globe, offering nonstop service to international destinations like Amsterdam, Paris, London, Seoul, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico City, Tokyo-Haneda, and more.
Delta also serves multiple cities in Canada from MSP, including Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto, and is currently the only carrier at MSP to provide nonstop service to Asia, it says.

Of course, another impressive feature of Delta Air Lines is that you don't have to head up to MSP to fly on the number-one airline in the country, either. Delta offers several connecting flights daily to MSP from Minnesota's Med City at Rochester International Airport.
Delta Brings Back a Popular In-Flight Favorite
All those destinations from MSP mean there are a lot of opportunities to check out these new enhancements that Delta just added to its flights. According to a Delta release, the next time you fly, keep an eye on the beverage cart, as one of Delta's most requested drinks just made its long-awaited return. Fresca officially returned to Delta's onboard beverage lineup starting July 1st.

In addition, Delta also added Rold Gold Tiny Twists Original Pretzels to the airline's complimentary snack lineup starting July 1st, as well, replacing SunChips Garden Salsa Flavored Whole Grain Snacks.
Minnesota Travelers Can Unlock an Extra Delta Perk
Delta also said that through its partnership with T-Mobile, if you're a T-Mobile customer, you can now link your SkyMiles membership to enjoy a complimentary beverage on board. Now through October 31, 2026, on most Delta flights, T-Mobile customers can use their SkyMiles Membership to unlock one complimentary, premium in-flight drink.

Delta also has a Minnesota connection, seeing as it merged with Minneapolis-based Northwest Airlines back in 2008. Northwest was one of those brands that was once huge here in Minnesota (kind of like Dayton's also was), but that now no longer exists. This is the same for many of the following famous brands.
