Jenna Fischer From ‘The Office’ Filming Iron Range Hockey Movie in MN

Jenna Fischer, who we fell in love with as Pam in 'The Office', will be shooting a new movie in Minnesota. The name of the movie is 'The Way of The Warriors,' and it's centered around Iron Range Hockey.  I'm a Ranger, and I can tell you that nowhere takes hockey more seriously than Northern Minnesota, so this is exciting news.

Jenna Fischer will play the wife of the lead character Jake Murray. In real life, she's the wife of the director of the film, Lee Kirk. According to the film's official website, the story is about a small town Iron Range Hockey coach who is under pressure from the community to bring back the glory days of hockey. His name is Jake, and he's constantly dealing with "fire Jake" talk in the community. He's raising his two boys who are on the team, and also facing terminal cancer. The community eventually comes behind him and together have a renewed sense of purpose, which leads to a "Magical Run" of the team that culminates in a State Hockey Championship game.
