This Thursday, March 15, the Lake Superior Marine Museum is hosting their annual cleaning day and there is still a great need for volunteers to help.

The Spring Cleaning Day, held in conjunction with the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, will be held March 15 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center, located at 600 South Lake Avenue in Duluth's Canal Park.

Volunteers are needed to wipe down displays, polish brass, dust electronic equipment and assist Park Rangers with any special projects. A complimentary lunch will be provided.

If you're part of a group or organization looking for volunteer opportunities, or if you and you family simply want to lend a helping hand, it would be greatly appreciated.

Volunteers are asked to contact the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association at: 218-727-2497.  You can also email Tammy:  tammy@lsmma.com.
