The Tribue Fest is a 2-day annual summer event that comes to Duluth's Bayfront Festival Park, and it's great for many reasons. The biggest reason is that The Tribute Fest was set up to raise awareness and funds for homeless veterans in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting veterans for over 25 years, helping over 5,500 veterans and their families. It is estimated that 1% of the veterans in this state, or close to 4,100, will experience an episode of homelessness this year, and MACV is there to help.

Another reason The Tribute Fest is a great event is that it's a weekend filled with hits made famous by some of the biggest names in music. The bands that take the main stage create a fun party atmosphere and this year will be no exception.

The Tribute Fest 2024

As is the case every summer, The Tributefest lineup this year brings a little something for everyone.

Here's who you'll see on the main stage:

Mainstage Lineup on Friday, August 23 - Gates Open At Noon

• 1 pm - Jett Threatt (Joan Jett Tribute)
• 3 pm - Janelle Kendall’s Perfect Storm (Classic Rock Anthems from the Women of Rock)
• 5 pm - Duluth Transit Authority (Tribute to Chicago)
• 7 pm - Xpedition(Tribute to Journey, Kanas & Styx)
• 9 pm - Rock Gods (Nothing But Rocking Arena Anthems)

Mainstage Lineup On Saturday, August 24 - Gates Open At 11 am

• Noon - A Tribute to Jimmy Buffet
• 1:30 pm - Halfway There (Tribute to Bon Jovi)
• 3 pm - Zed Leppelin (Tribute to Led Zeppelin)
• 5 pm - Chained Lightning(Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd)
• 7 pm - The Hybrid Theory (Tribute to Linkin’ Park)
• 9 pm - Almostsmith (Tribute to Aerosmith)
