Twin Ports legendary news anchor Dennis Anderson will be inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Anderson spent 42 years at WDIO-TV giving northlanders the news and now after 50+ in the broadcast industry, he will get a permanent spot at the Pavek Museum in St. Louis Park, MN.

The induction ceremony will be September 14th at the Pavek Museum and if you'd like to go, tickets go on sale April 2nd here.

Anderson retired in 2011 from WDIO but still stays busy as the co-host of WDSE-TV's "Almanac North" program.

Three other broadcasters will join him in the Hall of Fame, Winona radio broadcaster the late Charles Williams, radio host Patrick Reusse, and late WCCO-TV anchor Ralph Jon Fritz.
