A virtual exhibition has been created by the UMD Department of Art & Design featuring student-made artwork.  It's Assistant Professor David Short's Senior Design Class II and every piece is inspired by the success story of a rescue pet.

You can check out the exhibit here, through May 5th, and they are trying to raise money for the Humane Society of Douglas County.  Not only can you donate, there is an online shop too where you can purchase items like mugs, shirts, and stickers to support them.

What's cool about this is it's actually like walking through an art gallery only with your mouse.  You get a little more of the being there feeling out of it.  Donations to the "Lend a Paw" event help to feed animals in need, provide medical treatment, and house them until they can find their forever homes.
