Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer

Cathy Kates reported earlier on the alarming video of Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton collapsing during his State Of The State address.  Today, he revealed he is battling prostate cancer.

StarTribune.com is reporting that Governor Dayton announced the diagnosis Tuesday morning.  The cancer was discovered during Dayton's annual physical and he announced that his outlook is good and that he expects to learn more after an appointment next week at Mayo Clinic.

He doesn't believe the diagnosis and his fainting episode are related and he fully expects to finish out his term as Governor, which ends in 2019.
