Minnesota Had Six Big Powerball Winners Halloween Night
Halloween night arrived and the Powerball jackpot had risen to a whopping $1 billion. While nobody claimed that jackpot, there were other cash winners and six of them were in Minnesota.
The Minnesota winners each claimed $50,000, which means they had 4 of 5 numbers correct plus the Powerball number. In other words, they were just one number away from a $1 billion payday!
On Tuesday, the Minnesota State Lottery announced on their Facebook page exactly where the winning Minnesota tickets were purchased, including a location in Virginia.
Nobody won the $1 BILLION Powerball jackpot on October 31, 2022, but more than a handful of Minnesotans got $50,000 prizes.
Monday's winning Powerball numbers were 13, 19, 36, 39, 59 and the Powerball 13. Here are the lucky locations where winning tickets were purchased:
- Super One Foods located at 1111 17th St. S in Virginia
- Cub Foods located at 14133 Edgewood Dr. in Baxter
- Kwik Trip located at 9250 Springbrook Dr. NW in Coon Rapids
- Holiday Stationstores located at 9700 Betty Crocker Dr. in Plymouth
- Bill's Superette located at 15299 St. Francis Blvd. NW in Ramsey
- SFP Liquors Delux Liquor located at 24086 State Hwy 15 #104 in St. Cloud
Unless they decide to come forward publicly, we may never know who the big winners are. Regulation changes took place in order to protect lottery winners who win over $10,000. Big money winners can become targets for scammers and fraud, so the the Minnesota Lottery will not divulge their name unless they first agree to it.
The next Powerball drawing takes place Wednesday, November 2 at 9:59pm CST. The jackpot has risen to $1,200,000,000. Yes, that's $1.2 BILLION!
If you're feeling lucky, remember to purchase your Powerball tickets by 9:00pm CST, then be sure to check Wednesday night to see if you've become wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.
