Coming To Minnesota: ‘Impractical Jokers’ + ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ Comedians In Separate 2021 Shows
Need a laugh? After a year of pandemic and especially politically-charged stuff, a good dose of laugher would do everyone good in 2021.
The good news is that as music concerts are starting to happen again, comedians are also hitting the road. That happens to include names you'll recognize from shows you might watch on TV.
Yes, that's right! A couple chances to get your giggle on with faces from popular comedy television shows, both making tour stops in Minnesota later this year!
Show 1: 'Whose Live Anyway?'
The first of these two comedy-filled outings is a show called 'Whose Live Anyway', which is the live, in-person tour based on the similarly-named 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' TV show. The live improv comedy show actually features members of the TV show, taking their wacky improvised comedy experience to arenas and auditoriums across the country.
Sorry Wayne Brady fans, he won't be on the tour - but their website does boast three faces you'll recognize from the show! Mainstay comedian Ryan Stiles will be joined by regular show guests Greg Proops and Jeff B. Davis as part of the live experience. The roster is rounded out by Joel Murray, a brother world-famous comedian of Bill Murray.
The show was just recently announced on the 'Whose Live Anyway' website, happening at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota on Wednesday, October 13 at 8 pm. Reviews from Ticketmaster call the live experience even better than the TV show, with some saying they laughed through the entire 90-minute show.
Tickets went on sale on July 16, but there are still plenty available via Ticketmaster.
Show 2: Impractical Jokers "Scoopski Potatoes Tour"
The second show is a little closer to the Twin Ports area, happening in the Twin Cities. It is a rescheduled show featuring The Impractical Jokers crew at Target Center in Minneapolis.
If you've never seen Joe, Murr, Sal, and Q at a live show before; it isn't all pranks and practical jokes as you would see them on their TruTV show, but it is still a hilarious time that lets you into the world of The Tenderloins.
The original show date was scheduled for July 25 of this year, but was slid back to December 3, 2021 at 7:30 pm. Target Center cited the pandemic for the reason for the date change.
They'll be honoring tickets already purchased for the previous date, but you can still purchase tickets via AXS.
