The Minnesota Lynx got back to their winning ways on Friday night at Target Center with a 75-65 victory over the Washington Mystics.

Maya Moore had a game-high 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Seimone Augustus has been battling bursitis in her left knee finished with a solid 19 points on 9-14 shooting from the field and Lindsay Whalen 12 points 11 assists. The Mystics were led by Kara Lawson's 14 points, Kia Vaughn had a double-double with 10 points 13 rebounds and Bria Hartley finished with 10 points 6 assists and 3 rebounds. The Washington Mystics only had 9 turnovers all game (only 2 in the second half) lost this game mainly from poor shooting. They average a league worst 29 percent from three point range on the season and they continued that poor stat by hitting just 5 of 23 attempts for a dreaded 21 percent.

The Lynx hit 5 of their 10 attempts from behind the arc. The Lynx also had a slight edge on points in the paint 26-18. Even Though the Minnesota Lynx had dropped four of their last five games, the Target Center crowd of 8,813 cheered loud and often. There were only 3 lead changes on the night. The Lynx largest lead was 17 points and the Mystics was only 4.
