Minnesota Vikings vs. Tennessee Titans Live Game Coverage From Mall of America Field [LIVE BLOG]

The Minnesota Vikings look to go 4-1 by beating the 1-3 Tennessee Titans during a late afternoon game at Mall of America Field. The Vikings enter this game virtually injury free, while the Titans are forced to start backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck after Jake Locker injured his left shoulder last week. Vikings: McCleod Bethel-Thompson, Jarius Wright, Andrew Sendejo, Mistral Raymond, Marvin Mitchell, Mark Asper, D'Aundre Reed. Jamarca Sanford in for Misrtal Raymond at safety.

Titans: Jake Locker, Jamie Harper, Patrick Bailey, Mike Otto, Deuce Lutui, Lavelle Hawkins, Scott Solomon. Matt Hasselbeck in for Jake Locker at quarterback.

About 20 minutes to gametime, and both teams are sporting their pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Vikings horn was blown to open today's game by Flip Saunders.

Matt Kalil's sister Danielle sang the National Anthem before today's game. Impressive!

The Titans have won the toss, and have chosen to receive first. Blair Walsh will kick the ball away for the Vikings...and we're off!

First Quarter

Vikings defense took the field with lots of energy and authority, matching the LOUD crowd opening the first drive of the game.

Brian Robison earns a sack to end the opening drive of the Titans, they punt to Minnesota.

Opening Vikings drive ends in a 3 and out.

Vikings defense gets another stop, and the offense will work from back against their own endzone again after a punt.

Christian Ponder opens the drive with a 13 yard rush. Nice!

Ponder lofted a pass to the left side, connecting with Percy Harvin for a BIG 45 yard pickup.

Percy Harvin rushes for short yardage and a Vikings touchdown!

Announcement of Green Bay losing 27-30 to the Colts, and the crowd goes WILD!

Vikings force a fumble! Jasper Brinkley forced fumble from Chris Johnson, Harrison Smith recovered ball.

The Vikings end the first quarter with possession of the ball.

Vikings  cheerleaders dance it up to Tim McGraw's "Truck Yeah" with pink pom-poms, to match the pink theme of the game.

Second Quarter

Vikings open  the quarter punting...

Antoine Winfield intercepts the ball! Second turnover of the game in favor of the Vikings for the game.

Harrison Smith ejected from the game for conduct on the same play Winfield intercepted on. Report is that Smith pushed an official.

Blair Walsh kicks a 42-yard field goal.

Vikings 10 - Titans 0

The penalties seem to be coming a lot more frequently than in the last couple games...let's hope that doesn't decide the game.

Peterson breaks off a big 22-yard run. Biggest of the game so far.

Blair Walsh makes his second field goal appearance of the game and hits from 36 yards out.

Vikings 13 - Titans 0

Jared Allen earns his first sack of the game to end a Titans drive! Defense looks pretty solid today.

Halftime: Vikings 13 - Titans 0

Third Quarter 

Adrian Peterson gets a big 34-yard rush to open the second half.

Ponder intercepted for the first time of the game. Jordan Babineaux is on the receiving end for the Titans.

Toby Gerhart gets a big 22-yard rush, his biggest of the game.

Blair Walsh hits a 26-yard field goal - his third of the game.

Vikings 16 - Titans 0

Percy Harvin breaks a couple of tackles and runs his way into the endzone for a Vikings touchdown!

Fourth Quarter

Titans score their first points of the day. Hasselbeck to Jared Cook for a touchdown.

A couple of first downs for the Titans and the hone crowd sounds a little deflated.
