Another Twin Ports TV personality is leaving town.

Just weeks after longtime KBJR Meteorologist Adam Clark packed his bags and left town, we learned today that Good Morning Northland Meteorologist Taylor Dayton is leaving the area as well.

Dayton announced today on his Facebook page that after 3 years of working at WDIO that it's "time to move on to the next adventure for me and my family."

Dayton says he's moving to Idaho to be closer to his family in Arizona, and his wife's family in Idaho. It sounds like he's also making a career change, he didn't say what that is, but that he's looking forward to getting back to a normal sleep schedule.

"We have made lifelong friends with my coworkers and team at WDIO, at church, and in this community and we are sad to say goodbye for now, but excited for what the future holds!" says Dayton.

Dayton will be doing his final show tomorrow, June 26th, you can watch his goodbyes during Good Morning Northland from 5 AM - 7 AM on WDIO-TV.
