The 2019 NFL season is winding down and flex scheduling has begun.  Sunday, the NFL announced a schedule change that impacts the Minnesota Vikings.

Originally, the Vikings were to play on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers on week 15.  However, although the Vikings are very much in the NFC playoff hunt, the Chargers are pretty much out the AFC playoff picture and are fighting to stay out of last place in the AFC West.

Therefore, the Vikings will now play at Los Angeles on December 15 with a standard afternoon kickoff time of 3:05 p.m. CST.

Sunday Night Football on week 15 will now feature the Buffalo Bills at the Pittsburgh Steelers.  This game features two AFC teams who have currently qualified for the playoffs and will be looking to solidify their playoff positions.  Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. CST.

Following the Chargers game, the Vikings will travel back to Minnesota to prepare for a week 16 Monday Night Football showdown against the Green Bay Packers.  Kickoff from U.S. Bank Stadium is 7:15 p.m. CST.
