Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premieres at the Cannes Film Festival today — the first screening is going on as I type this — and to capitalize on the excitement, Sony released the second trailer for the film. It expands the details from the first, with Leonardo DiCaprio as a struggling actor and Brad Pitt as his easygoing stunt double, and gives us our first glimpses of Charles Manson (Damon Herriman) and his dangerous Family.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

Quentin Tarantino’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

At the risk of sounding controversial I will say: I really want to watch this movie. Like, a lot. It looks awesome. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood opens in theaters on July 26.
