It looks like the scandals of last year have finally hurt Tiger Woods, knocking him off the top of the "most powerful athlete" list.  He still made $71.3 Million, so I don't feel that bad for him.

Tiger Woods has lost his status as the world's "most powerful athlete" on Bloomberg Businessweek’s annual "Power 100" ranking to Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, the New York Post reported.

Snowboarder Shaun White, who made the biggest jump on the list by rising from the 51st spot a year earlier, has also overtaken Woods as the golfer fell to third place this year.

Bloomberg Businessweek said that "sex scandals tend to hurt earnings and unquestionably damaged Woods' performance," according to the Post. "Unless he can regain his game - and the trust of fans and advertisers - his earnings are likely to keep plummeting."
