The event will also feature live music from John & Andy from 1 PM - 4 PM, but it's all about the apples at 'Apple Palooza' so Dixon’s Apple Orchard is bringing plenty of their Champagne and Honeycrisp Apples, but they'll also have their apple cider.

The Champagne Apple was first grown in New Mexico by Fred Dixon in the early 1940s and remains in the family, Becky Mullane, Dixon's granddaughter had to move the operation to Wisconsin after a wildfire in New Mexico destroyed their ranch.

According to Mullane, the Champagne Apple is "sweet yet spicy", I like the sound of that, I never had an apple that I would use the term spicy to describe, so I defiantly want to try some of these.

Dixon's Apple Orchard does not only specialize in Apples, but they also grow raspberries, make wine, and have a wedding venue business, they are certainly keeping busy.
