Are you in the mood for a fun little road trip? I have the perfect spooky spot for you to head to if you want to get out of town in October and celebrate all things scary. It's a haunted attraction I've heard a lot about!

There are, of course, so many haunted attractions in the Twin Ports as well but if you are a Halloween fanatic like me, the more haunted attractions, the better! The famous Haunted Ship is back this year, with the event kicking off in early October.

The Haunted Shack is back as well and seeking volunteers for the 2022 season. The haunt, located in Carlton, features a haunted hayride, haunted house and a haunted forest walkthrough. It is not for the faint of heart.

These are just a few examples of many haunted attractions and fall festivities you can find in Duluth and Superior. Once you've hit them all, you might want to try out a new one and I found the perfect one for that!

The haunted attraction in question? Ringler's House on Haunted Hill & Haunted Trail. The spot is located just about an hour from Duluth, which makes it just perfect enough for a fun getaway after work or a weekend.

The spot is located in Brook Park, Minnesota, at 3064 State Highway 23. It has a five-star rating with more than sixty reviews which means the people have spoken and this place is scary!

The haunted attraction is a trail with monsters jumping out at you at every turn. There is also a family friendly option, where you can walk the trail without ghosts and ghouls jumping out at you.

Tickets for the scare range from five bucks to fifteen bucks depending on what type of haunt you want. The haunt kicks off on Friday, September 30th with gates opening at 7 p.m. Organizers are looking for some volunteers that opening weekend.

The haunt will then continue every Friday and Saturday in October, with the 29th being the final night. Each night opens at 7 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. There are food and drinks on site, including bottomless hot chocolate. There is also swag available if you get chilly and need a hoodie this fall!

There will also be a special event on Saturday, October 29th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event is called the Children of Haunted Hill with free trick-or-treating along the trail and a costume contest.
