Rod Stewart Returns To MN This Summer

(Shaggy) Blondes have more fun - especially when they're performing in Minnesota!  Long-time favorite Rod Stewart returns to the Land of 10,000 Lakes this August for a show at Treasure Island Resort and Casino - south of the Twin Cities metro in Welch. Event organizers announced that tickets for the Saturday, August 24 performance will go on sale 10:00 AM, Friday, May 24.

Stewart has a long history in Minnesota - playing sold-out performances in the Twin Cities, the Minnesota State Fair, and most-recently - a rescheduled show with Cyndi Lauper at the Xcel Energy Center this past October.

According to information released by Treasure Island Resort and Casino, Stewart's August show should please even longtime fans.  It's a new "critically-acclaimed...show, which includes a massive new stage production with an 11-piece band".

Treasure Island Resort and casino has an extensive entertainment lineup planned for this summer - including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Reba McEntire, Kid Rock, The Avett Brothers, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Adam Sandler, 50 Cent, and Trampled By Turtles.
