Second Spirit Halloween Store Open In Duluth

Another day, another story about Spirit Halloween! The second of two Spirit Halloween locations in Duluth is officially open.

For some background, there are two Spirit Halloween locations in Duluth this year. The first location is in the Miller Hill Mall. This isn't a huge surprise, since there was a Spirit Halloween store in the mall last year.

The mall location opened in early August surprisingly and is in the same spot it was last year, which is near the JCPenney end of the mall. The year before last, the Spirit Halloween location was in the old Shopko building in Duluth.

I was shocked to learn that there was a second location this year, as this has never happened before. This spot is in the old Bed Bath & Beyond location, which is located right across from the Miller Hill Mall and right next to Buffalo Wild Wings.

While it may seem like two locations is excessive, the two stores are a bit different. The Spirit Halloween location in the mall is much smaller, which means you get less product and no big animatronics like you typically see in a Spirit store. However, it still has all the best goodies if you are into Halloween.

The second Spirit location is much bigger. This will allow for more products but also the big setups and designs that you see when you walk into a Spirit Halloween. This includes fun little houses you can walk through and massive horror villains that move when you step close!

This location opened on Monday (August 8th). I heard rumors that it was open but when I went, the doors didn't open. I guess I went a bit too early before they were open! However, the Spirit Halloween website confirms that the store is now indeed open.

The store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the week. On Saturdays, the store opens earlier at 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. On Sundays, this particular store opens at noon and closes earlier at 6 p.m.

Speaking of all things Halloween, the Haunted Shack just announced their schedule for 2022 event. They also said they are looking for volunteers for the month of October. There is an incentive given for volunteers that help out.
