The 3rd Annual Stuffie Boot Camp is coming to the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center, providing educational fun for kids Pre-K through third grade.

Stuffie Boot Camp is Friday, March 13.  Between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m, kids can enlist their favorite stuffed animal to see if they have what it takes to make it through boot camp.

According to organizers:

During enlistment, participants will be able do some coloring and enjoy a snack with their favorite stuffed animal.   After drop off, the stuffie will be put through an experience like no other. Special activities include the popsicle stick wall climb, cargo net crawl, gum drop grenade toss and learning how to fly the P-38.

On March 14, stuffie owners will return to pick up their fluffy friend.  The participant will receive a customized dog tag, free museum admission to see the activities your animal experienced, discharge papers filled with photos, and a report of their activities.

The cost for this event is $10 per stuffed animal.  Follow the link below to get registered ahead of time.
