The Superior Fire Department Headquarters hung a flag from their observatory tower, along with neatly placed fire fighter gear on the 18th anniversay of the 9/11 attacks.

The tribute can be seen at the newly remodeled headquarters at 3326 Tower Avenue in Superior. The large flag was spotted by motorists in the morning, and word spready quickly. Above the flag is a firefighter's coat and pants and helmet placed on top.

Along with this, other firefighter stations had their flags at half mast to honor those who gave their lives on 9/11. 343 New York Firefighters died at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001.

Also on the 18th anniversary of that fateful day, firefighters are still being identified like Michael Haub. He was a 13 year veteran of Ladder Company 4 when he died at Groud Zero.

It was a day that changed all of our lives and the future of this country. May we never forget the sacrifice our first responders made.
