The 2019 Duluth Airshow already promises to bring the United States Navy Blue Angels to the Northland this summer, but exciting additions continue to be announced.
Thousands enjoyed 2018's show featuring the US Air Force Thunderbirds, and the date was announced for the 2019 show, which will feature the US Navy Blue Angels.
While rain loomed as a possibility in the forecast for the 2017 Duluth Air and Aviation Expo, the sky cooperated as hundreds were captivated by aerial spectacles and ground displays.
The Duluth Air Show is this weekend, with gates opening at 9:00 a.m. and closing at 6:00 p.m. both Saturday, July 9 and Sunday July 10. With a dramatic increase in traffic expected near the Duluth airbase, the Duluth Police Department has issued an advisory.
